That's why the Personal Impact Overview gives you clear, verifiable data on specific projects – from our tree planting efforts to our carbon credit projects powering Planet Protection – and how we measure their impact. We want you to feel confident and excited about what you're helping achieve.

What You'll Discover on Your Personal Impact Overview

Here’s a quick tour of the key impact areas you'll find on your personalized dashboard:

Trees Planted: Growing a Greener Future

You'll see the exact number of trees you've helped plant through Plant Your Change. We'll show you where these important reforestation projects are located, giving you a direct link to the ecosystems you're helping restore.

A clear chart will also track your monthly tree-planting progress, highlighting your consistent contribution to pulling carbon emissions from the air and restoring nature.

Deposits for a Fossil-Free Future: Avoid Emissions

One of the biggest impacts you have with GreenFi comes simply from where you keep your money. Unlike big banks, GreenFi deposits never fund fossil fuel companies.†

This means choosing us helps reduce indirect emissions. Your overview will show you the avoided greenhouse gas emissions from your deposits, along with a monthly look at this significant, often unseen, impact.

Green Cash Back: Get Rewarded for Smart Choices

We love to celebrate and reward smart shopping. Your overview will show the total cash back you've earned from purchases in our Green Marketplace or our past cash back programs. This highlights the rewards you get for taking action and choosing more sustainable brands.

Carbon Offsets (for GreenFi Plus Members): Tackle Your Driving Footprint

For our valued GreenFi Plus members, the app will show the impact you're having by offsetting your car fuel purchases. You'll see the gallons of fuel you offset each month, thanks to high-quality carbon credits from impactful projects like a wind energy project in India and an avoided deforestation project in Maine, USA.

Monthly Contributions: Support Our Mission and Help Environmental Non-Profits

Unlike Big Banks that can charge more than $5 a month in maintenance fees, at GreenFi you choose what you pay us each month - even if it’s $0.

10% of that goes directly to support environmental non-profits and the rest supports our operations and mission to fight climate change. As a 1% for the Planet member, 1% of all revenue GreenFi makes is donated to environmental non-profits.

As part of this overview, you can manage this contribution right in the app, see your monthly contribution history, and discover which non-profits you're supporting.

Redwood Fund Investments: Lower Your Investment Footprint

If you invest in our Redwood mutual fund, the app will show the avoided carbon emissions from your investments.

Our Redwood Fund has lower direct and electricity emissions than the S&P 500, meaning your investments actively help build a lower carbon economy. You'll see a monthly view of your investment impact, helping you align your portfolio with climate solutions and reduce your indirect emissions.
